As we continue to build a life working from home, soft dressing and comfortability will continue to be a focus in our wardrobes. These looks from the runway may not be perfect for lounging on the couch but we can reimagine the trends for a more wearable look that fits our “new” normal. The perfect way to dress up a slouchy look? Sheen fabric upgrades, feminine details, and the perfect color choices.

As the world continues to question gender roles, designers are blurring the lines between what we consider feminine and masculine. Throughout this season’s runway we see a chic mix of soft drapey satin in more masculine colors and silhouettes.

A less tailored trouser is quickly becoming the trendiest piece to invest in. With so much talk of remote work, it makes sense that designers would embrace this trend.

Not so much soft dressing but an important aspect to the satin and sheen Fall 2020 trend. The bold shoulder has been resurrected from the 80’s and has quickly taken on a new life of its own. Will this trend make it through the WFH surge? Only time will tell.
